2. Choose the class you are giving a semester test in.
3. Create an assignment called Semester Test that is worth 100 pts, weight 1, and falls on either 12/17/09 or 12/18/09. DO NOT ADD ANY OTHER ASSIGNMENTS ON THE 17th and 18th. ONLY ADD THE SEMESTER TEST ON THE 17th and 18th. Save.
4. After you save the assignment the Reporting Term on the Scoresheet of your gradebook will probably change to show T2 grades instead of S2 grades. T2 will have all of the semesters assignments (S2) along with the semester test (E2).

5. Next click the Grade Setup tab.

6. When the screen loads make sure T2 is selected. You should be able to see S2 and E2 below the highlighted T2.

7. With T2 selected choose the Term Weights setting.

8. Below the Term Weights setting you will see E2 and S2 listed with weights of 50 for each. Change the weight of E2 to 11 and the S2 to 89. Save.

You should be able to add your semester test scores in the Scoresheet under the T2 Reporting Term view. This will result in a T2 final grade for each student that is composed of their semester assignments S2 along with their semester test E2. If you DO NOT see grades under the Final Grade T2 column after setting the Reporting Term view to T2 then you have done something wrong.
!!! You have to do these steps to every class that you give a semester test in. If you DO NOT give a semester test in a class then you can use the protocol for the 5th and 6th grade books. !!!
