Place the metric ruler provided under the stage clips on your microscope.
 
2. Rotate the nosepiece to the low power objective
 
3. Look through the eye-piece and adjust the ruler so you can see the millimeter lines on the ruler across the middle of your field of view.
 
4. Draw what you see in the top circle. Label the drawing to indicate the number of millimeter lines visible in your "field of view.
 

 

 

 

 

 


 
5. Rotate the nose piece to the medium power objective lens. DO NOT move the ruler!
